Globalization

Globalization is when multiple countries are connected socially, economically and culturally. Today their are many factors leading to globalization such as transportation or again economy. Of course technology plays an important role in this. Globalization has positive and negative points. It can lead to success or failure. Some of these are cited below:

• Pros :)
  

-Globalization was positive for some people since it made them wealthier.
-This also allowed the spread of democracy.
-Lowered the prices in many cases.
-Growth of international trade.
-People could lead a different lifestyle.
-More trading meant more profit which then means better lifestyle for people.
-More products -> various choices for other companies.
-Technological improvement!
-People are currently more opened to other traditions. The spread of people was beneficial because know people usually accept others equally.
-There was a better cash income.
-People started accepting other cultures and learned more about them.
-Democracy is stronger then autocracy know.

• Cons :(

-People do not believe in the same things. (change of religions...)
-Developing countries are not advantaged in globalization.
-Diseases are easily spread, people know intertwine with others causing illnesses to spread. (H1N1, STD...)
-Europeans are losing their jobs because business owners found less expensive products in Asia. They then license people and people unfortunately lose their jobs.
-The environment is polluted because of all the industries that are built.
-People that did not adapt to this kind of life had a lower quality of life.
-Weaker labor unions.
-Free trade is positive and negative depending on the countries economy. (Developing or fully developed.)
